I had the opportunity to eat at Nobu again when I was reviewing the hotel. I wasn't paying so decided to take Vanessa's advice (see comment above) and eat at the sushi bar.

The waiter and sushi chefs but together a 6 course menu for us which was amazing. We did end with some meat options, but I would recommend sticking with seafood the whole way.

We were blown away by what the chefs were producing and they loved seeing our appreciative reactions. I would certainly say it is the best uncooked food experience you will have in Cape Town.

It is not a cheap meal by any stretch, at about R600 per head just for the food it's for special occasions like when someone else is paying.

We did not even have any sushi, just fantastic preparations of various fish and shell fish. I had a mind blowing scallop dish, and the trio of tuna was also an experience.

I'm really glad to have had the experience though, an amazing treat which set the bar for that type of food.
