Restaurants with fireplaces in Cape Town

Right, so before winter is out, we need a list of places with fireplaces (that are in use). We all know nothing beats having dinner or sipping wine on the couch next to a roaring fire, especially when it’s raining and miserable outside. This is the list I have compiled, thanks to all who contributed on Facebook and Twitter and by email (I also stole a few from the Main Ingredient newsletter). There will obviously be many I haven’t included, please share them by leaving a comment.

    Hmm.

waterfront – Alba Bar (just one of those gas & pebbles things)

Noordhoek – Red herring used to have a Queen Anne Stove?

Kalk Bay – Polana – one of the best fireplaces & views in town.

Town – Ricks Americain Cafe & Paradiso

    Will think some more.
