Dax, interesting “virtual water” link, but what exactly does it all mean and what is its value besides making people feel guilty for wearing clothes? Cheers, D

Dave, I think the point of these exercises is to show people that the way that we live is not sustainable. We don’t feel that we do much damage but that’s because we don’t know what damage is done in producing the things we consume.
A person may be able to buy a new pair of jeans, but do they really want to be responsible for another 10 000L of water? We need to relook at the way we consume.
